Construction is moving quickly over at The Black Hart of St. Paul and we are excited to share the progress.
Highlights from Week 1:
Footing formwork for the frost pad at the new door complete
Inspector signed off on the footings
6’ construction fence up around the site for safety
Highlights from Week 2:
The new sidewalk from University to the new door opening is now 100% complete
Concrete footings for the trellis and Simpson post bases are now all in
As a result of grading plan adjustments, 6 trucks worth of fill were brought onto the site to fill low spots and create gentle cross-site sloped plane
Fill and grading is 75% complete and on track to be completed by EOD
Looking ahead to Week 3:
Scheduling concrete cutting sub to come in and cut new door opening in CMU
New door install (+ hardware, trim, sealant, flashing, etc…)
Trenching for underground electrical
Fencing
